In detail

Understanding each therapy

A short, responsible look at how each therapy works and who may benefit. Whether a therapy is right for you is always decided in consultation.

Ayurvedic Consultation

01

Ayurvedic Consultation

An Ayurvedic consultation begins with a conversation. Dr. Rasika listens to understand your constitution (Prakruti), daily routine, diet, symptoms and wellness goals before offering guidance.

The consultation considers you as a whole person — body, mind and lifestyle — so that any suggested approach is individualised to your needs.

Who it may suit

  • Understanding your body type (Prakruti)
  • New to Ayurveda and unsure where to begin
  • General wellness and preventive care guidance
Panchkarma

02

Panchkarma

Panchkarma is a set of classical Ayurvedic purification and rejuvenation procedures. At Prakruti, every Panchkarma programme begins with a consultation and assessment so the approach is personalised.

Therapies are planned, guided and followed-up by the consulting doctor — nothing is offered without prior assessment.

Who it may suit

  • Those advised Panchkarma after a consultation
  • Seasonal wellness and rejuvenation programmes
  • Constitutional balance and deep rest
Abhyanga

03

Abhyanga

Abhyanga is a classical whole-body oil therapy performed with warm, carefully selected medicated oils. The rhythm and pressure are tailored to the individual.

Herbal oils are chosen during your consultation, so the therapy suits your constitution rather than a one-size-fits-all routine.

Who it may suit

  • Deep relaxation and rest
  • Supporting daily wellness routines
  • Pacifying dryness and fatigue
Shirodhara

04

Shirodhara

Shirodhara is a deeply calming therapy in which a continuous, gentle stream of warm medicated oil — or other suitable liquid — is poured across the forehead in a rhythmic flow.

It is often used to support relaxation of the mind, better sleep and a sense of mental ease. Suitability is always assessed in consultation first.

Who it may suit

  • Mental restlessness and stress
  • Sleep difficulties
  • A calm, restorative break
Swedana

05

Swedana

Swedana is a classical sudation therapy using medicated steam, commonly performed together with oil therapies such as Abhyanga.

The temperature, duration and herbal decoction are adjusted during your consultation to ensure the therapy is safe and comfortable for you.

Who it may suit

  • Aching, tired muscles and joints
  • As part of a Panchkarma programme
  • Supporting the body's natural elimination
Nasya

06

Nasya

Nasya is a classical Ayurvedic procedure in which medicated oils are gently administered through the nose, after appropriate preparation of the head, neck and shoulder region.

Because Nasya involves medication through the nasal route, it is always performed only when clearly indicated and after a doctor's consultation.

Who it may suit

  • Blocked nasal passages and sinus discomfort
  • Head, neck and shoulder tension
  • Supporting clarity of the senses
Ayurvedic Lifestyle Guidance

07

Ayurvedic Lifestyle Guidance

Ayurveda places everyday routine at the centre of wellness. Dinacharya — the daily routine — is simple, practical guidance on how to structure your day to suit your nature.

This guidance covers sleep, work, movement, meals and rest, and is built around your constitution and daily reality rather than rigid rules.

Who it may suit

  • Building healthier daily habits
  • Stressful or irregular schedules
  • Preventive, everyday wellness
Diet & Wellness Guidance

08

Diet & Wellness Guidance

Ayurvedic dietary guidance looks at food as nourishment for your specific constitution. Recommendations consider digestion, seasons, routine and individual tolerance.

Guidance is practical and sustainable — you are never pushed to follow a vague 'Ayurvedic diet', but a plan that fits your life.

Who it may suit

  • Digestive comfort and regularity
  • Understanding what suits your constitution
  • Sustainable, everyday healthy eating
